Anbarasi (Anbu) is a Thamizhachi who loves a good laugh, life in general, food, and animals. She is now ACRES’s Co-CEO overseeing the education; fundraising; animal crime investigation; and wildlife management departments at ACRES. Anbu lives at the wildlife rescue centre itself, with three lovely rescued mongrels and 170 other rescued wildlife. With an educational background in Life Sciences and Environmental Management and over 15 years of experience in animal protection issues, she believes that every single person can make a difference. She puts her energy into education, raising awareness, and advocating for changes in policies that will help animals directly.
