Sofia is a Thamizhachi who applies manjal on her face twice a week, uses coconut oil on her curls on the daily, and wears sarees when it is important to do so. Having been a programmer at the Esplanade for nearly 7 years, She has worked on producing, presenting and developing programmes for young audiences. Her work centers around the development of local artists in honing their craft towards creating performances that are pedagogically and aesthetically sound for children and youth through experimentation and exploration. As an advocate for diversity and representation, She ensures that they are key in making quality and ethical content for young persons.
